Blue Harbour Estates Services offer a high-quality, comprehensive and diverse service for the maintenance of parks, sports pitches and green spaces. Blue Harbour Estates Services are experts at maintaining and creating beautiful landscapes.

Grass Cutting

Having the right tools for the right job is key to getting great results!

We have top-of-the-range plant and equipment to enable our team to work safely and get the job done – whether it’s the box mowing of ornamental lawns or cutting and clearing overgrown areas.

Cleansing

Whether it’s carelessly discarded rubbish, or debris that has been blown there, litter can quickly make an area look uninviting and uncared for, as well as posing a danger to birds and wildlife, encouraging pests and presenting hazards to human health.

Graffiti removal is also an important job to stay on top of as it can quickly escalate, bringing down the general feel of an area and damaging buildings and structures. It also encourages littering, drug-use and other anti-social behaviour.

Shrub Bed Maintenance

Spring is the most exciting (and busy) time in the gardening year, as nature wakes up and trees and plants burst into life!

Add interest and beauty to your environment with well-maintained shrub and flower beds to last throughout the growing season…

Sweeping

Dirt, debris and leaves can accumulate quickly along kerb edges and gutters, and in cracks and around edges of hard surfaces. Moss, leaves and small stones can also build up, making areas look unattractive, and posing potential slip and trip hazards.

Regular sweeping of hard surfaces, manually or with a mechanical sweeper, can keep debris build up in check and roads, pavements, sports surfaces and car parks looking their best.

Hedge Cutting

Hedges make great natural boundaries and add security and definition to areas, as well as providing valuable food and shelter for many animals, and nesting sites for birds.

There are many species available which can offer year-round colour and interest; thorny varieties to deter pedestrian access and fast-growing species to create privacy and shade.  Well maintained and trimmed hedges look attractive and reduce encroachment into adjoining areas. September and April are generally the best times to carry out hedge cutting, to avoid disturbing hibernating animals and nesting birds.
